In a moving video, Moroccans stranded abroad because of the coronavirus strict travel ban urged the authorities to bring them home.

«Morocco has forgotten about us, but we would never do the same», said a Moroccan stranded abroad featured in the video. The latter included the messages and calls of several other nationals stranded in different parts of the world, including France, Belgium, the UK, Ukraine, the US, Turkey and Algeria.

«We have to go home, find us a solution», a young mother with her baby in her arms said in the same video. «I am sick, exhausted and I miss my children», a senior man told the camera as he has been stranded abroad for more than 40 days.

For the record, at least 22,000 Moroccans have been stranded in different countries since March 13 when Morocco closed its borders and implemented a strict travel ban to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.
