97 new confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning in Morocco, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 5,505, the health Ministry announced.
In a recent update, the Ministry reported that 49,604 suspected cases have tested negative for the virus so far. While deaths related to the coronavirus stand at 183, the number of Covid-19 patients who recovered in the Kingdom has reached 2,124.
The confirmed coronavirus cases in the Kingdom are located as follows : 26.94% in Casablanca-Settat, 20.65% in Marrakech-Safi, 14.11% in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, 12.92% in Fez-Meknes, 10.12% in Daraa-Tafilalet, 8.63% in Rabat-Salé-Kenitra, 3.18% in the Oriental region, 1.58% in Beni-Mellal-Khenifra, 1.02% in Souss Massa, 0.74% in Guelmim-Oued Noun, 0.07% in Laayoune-Sakia-El Hamra, 0.04 in Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab.
