Wanted by Morocco for drug trafficking, a 37-year-old man was arrested in Velez-Malaga (Spain). Before his arrest, the suspect known by his initials (AJ) was operating near the Guergarate border post, through which he helped smuggle 7,000 kilos of cannabis resin.
According to a statement from the Spanish national police, quoted by Malaga Hoy, the suspect who fled Morocco was located on Thursday. The operation, which led to his arrest, was carried out based on an international arrest warrant. The suspect faces up to 10 years in prison.
