Coronavirus : 349 new cases, mainly in Tangier, Laayoune and Casablanca

349 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco between Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections to 10,693, the Health Ministry announced.

The number of recoveries rose to 8,426 with 19 new recoveries and deaths stand at 214 cases, the ministry said. 

125 of the new cases were recorded in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, 94 Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra, 93 in Casablanca-Settat, 20 in Marrakech-Safi, 8 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 6 in Fès-Meknès, three cases in Beni Mellal-Khénifra and two in Guelmim-Oued Noun.
