The Sultan of Oman phones King Mohammed VI to check on his health

The Sultan of Oman Haithm Bin Tarik phoned, Tuesday, King Mohammed VI to check on his health after the surgery he had recently underwent, Oman News wrote.

During their phone call, the Sultan «expressed his sincere congratulations on the success of the operation, wishing him good health, wellbeing and quick recovery», the same source added.

In return, the Sovereign thanked the Sultan for his gesture. «He wished His Majesty the Sultan good health, happiness and a long life. He also wished the Omani people further progress and growth under His Majesty's wise leadership», it added.

For the record, several leaders phoned King Mohammed VI after he underwent a medical intervention to treat a heart rhythm disorder known as atrial flutter. The sovereign underwent a similar intervention two years ago in Paris.
