In Varesotto, a province in the Lombardy region of Italy, three Moroccans died on Wednesday after the edge of a building collapsed.

According to Radio Lombardia, the three victims are Fouzia Taoufiq, 38, and her two children. Although the rescue was immediate, the mother and her 5-year-old boy, who was on a bicycle, could not be saved.

Her 15-month-old daughter, in a stroller, was rushed by a helicopter to the Gallarate hospital, where she died shortly after admission. Fouzia’s 9-year-old child survived the tragedy.

Several people have already reacted to the tragedy, such as the president of the Lombardy region, Attilio Fontana.
