The Spanish embassy in Rabat announced on Wednesday the organization of new repatriation operations for Spanish nationals and Moroccans residing in the peninsula and stranded in Morocco due to the new coronavirus.

On social media, the diplomatic representation indicated that these operations would be done by boat, from the port of Tangier to Algeciras, on July 1 and 2.

A similar operation linking the two port cities is already planned for June 26 and 27. On June 17, another exceptional trip by boat linked Tanger Med to Malaga. 714 passengers were thus able to be repatriated via the Balearea company, in addition to 305 cars.
