Three people have tested positive for the coronavirus at the Racing Athletic Club (RAC), a Moroccan football club currently playing in the Botola. One of the three confirmed cases is a footballer and the two others are members of the club’s technical and medical staff, Kifach reports.
Sources within the Casablanca-based club said that the team held its first training sessions on Monday and a second session is scheduled for Tuesday.
For its part, Ittihad Tanger (IRT) announced, on its Facebook page, that a member of the club has tested positive for Covid-19. The patient is an employee at the club.
For the record, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) announced last week that the postponed matches of the Botola will take place between July 24 and August 8, but without an audience.
