319 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 13,288.
70 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 9,160.
One death was recorded during the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 230. Morocco also has 3,898 active cases.
116 cases were recorded in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, with 93 in Tangier, 15 cases in Larache and 8 in Tetouan.
Next comes the Marrakech-Safi region, with 72 new cases, including 56 cases in Safi, 14 cases in Marrakech and two cases in Kelaat Sraghna.
The Fez-Meknes region recorded 70 new cases, including 67 in Fez, 2 cases in Meknes and one case in Ifrane while in Casablanca-Settat, 42 new cases were recorded, including 33 in Casablanca, 6 in Benslimane, two cases at Berrechid and one case in Sidi Bennour.
The Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region recorded 14 new cases, including 11 cases in Salé and three in Temara.
In the south of the Kingdom, Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra recorded 5 new cases, all in Laayoune.
