228 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 14,607.
466 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recovered Covid-19 patients in the Kingdom to 10,639.
Three people died of coronavirus (in Tangier, Casablanca and Guelmim), bringing the death toll to 240. Morocco has 3,728 active cases.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 47 new cases : 38 cases in Casablanca and 9 in Mediouna. Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima recorded 44 new : 19 in Tetouan, 10 in Tangier, 9 in Al Fahs Anjra, 5 cases in Ouazzane and one case in M'diq.
The region of Fez-Meknes recorded 41 new cases, all in the city of Fez. 28 new cases were recorded in the city of Laayoune. 22 new cases were found in Guelmim-Oued Noun : 17 at Tan Tan, 4 cases in Guelmim and one case in Assa Zag.
21 new cases were recorded in the Marrakech-Safi region (6 in Marrakech, 8 in Safi and 7 in the province of El Houaz).
In the Oriental region, 11 cases were recorded between yesterday and today, all in Jerada, while 9 cases were recorded in Khénifra (region of Beni Mellal-Khénifra). Finally, 5 new cases were detected in Sidi Slimane, in the region of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra.
