249 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 15,328.
380 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 11,827.
One death was recorded during the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 243. Morocco has 3,258 active cases.
Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima recorded most of the new cases (85) : 60 in Tangier, 17 in Tetouan, 7 in Al Fahs Anjra and 1 in Ouazzane.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 62 new cases : 33 in Casablanca, 10 in Mohammedia, 10 in Settat, 7 in El Jadida, 1 in Berrechid and another in Médiouna. 49 new cases were recorded in Marrakech-Safi : 26 in Marrakech and 23 in Al Haouz.
The Fez-Meknes region recorded 25 case : 23 in Fez and 1 in Sefrou and 1 in Taza. Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra region, with 17 new cases in the city of Laayoune.
In the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region, there are 6 cases : 3 in Kénitra, 1 in Khémisset, 1 in Sidi Kacem and another in Salé.
Guelmim-Oued Noun region recorded 4 new cases, all at Tan Tan while one case was recorded in the city of Dakhla (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab).
