Morocco’s national carrier Royal air Maroc (RAM) announced, Wednesday, that it has introduced fixed fares for the special flights expected to bring home Moroccans living abroad and foreigners residing in Morocco.

«The fixed prices are for the flights scheduled within the framework of the special operation linked to the state of health emergency in Morocco», wrote the airline company in a press release sent to Yabiladi. Indeed, several travelers have complained about the pricey flight tickets for the scheduled trips.

«The new prices have been well studied in order to meet customer demand», explains the national company. They are «lower than the prices generally offered, during the summer, due to competition».

Thus, the prices of flights connecting Morocco to destinations in Western Europe are at 2,200 dirhams including taxes (one way in economy class). As for flights to Africa, they go from 3,500 to 4,500 dirhams, taxes included.

Flights connecting Morocco to North America are sold at 6,500 dirhams, taxes included, (one way in economy class on the Casablanca-Montreal route) and 8,000 dirhams (one way in economy class on the Casablanca route - New York).
