Dutch politician Geert Wilders has had his Twitter account hacked. He is one of the celebrities and politicians who had their accounts taken over by scammers. The list includes Bill Gates, Tesla founder Elon Musk, Michael Bloomberg, Kanye West, and Joe Biden.

Wilders, who is mostly known for his anti-Moroccans statements, had his profile picture on Twitter replaced with a «caricature of a black man», NL Times wrote. His cover photo was also replaced with a photo of the Moroccan flag.

Since then, his account has been retweeting conspiracy theories, the same source added. While no money has been asked on Wilders’ account, other hacked accounts have asked for Bitcoin.

«I am giving back to the community. All Bitcoin sent to the address below will be sent back doubled! If you send $1,000 , I will send back $2,000. Only doing this for 30 minutes. Enjoy!» the tweets read. Twitter has locked all hacked accounts and removed tweets posted by attackers.

In 2014, Wilders told the crowds that «the Hague should be a city with fewer problems, if possible, fewer Moroccans».

He then asked his followers whether they want more or fewer Moroccans in the city and they chanted repeating «fewer, fewer, fewer». Wilders responded saying : «We will take care of that». In December 2016, he was found guilty of «inciting discrimination against Dutch Moroccans».
