The Dutch embassy in Morocco announced, Wednesday, the end of the repatriation operations carried out to bring home Dutch nationals and Dutch-Moroccans as well as Moroccans based in the Netherlands that have been stranded in Morocco since March.

On its Facebook page, the Dutch diplomatic representation recalled that due to the coronavirus, Morocco extended the state of health emergency until August 10, 2020.

«Normal international travel is therefore not possible. However, borders are exceptionally open for specific groups. This includes travelers stranded in Morocco who want to return home; people like you living in the Netherlands», it added.

Starting from Wednesday, three categories can return to the Netherlands, which thus marks the end of the repatriation campaign organized by the Netherlands.
