The Polisario Front reports the first coronavirus-related death in the Tindouf camps

The Polisario Front announced on Tuesday the first coronavirus-related death in the Tindouf camps, after it confirmed 4 Covid-19 infections.
 
In a statement by the spokesperson for its «Health Ministry», the separatist movement said that the deceased «suffered from chronic illnesses», adding that «the other cases are under treatment and continue to improve».
 
The same source also acknowledged the existence of «suspected cases», noting that screening tests were carried out and sent to the laboratory.

Last week, the Front confirmed four coronavirus cases in the Tindouf camps. These four cases are spread over the «Smara, Dakhla, Chahid El Hafed and Boujdour camps».
