Covid-19 in Tindouf : The Polisario decides to muzzle voices contradicting its version

The Polisario leadership is determined to muzzle all voices contradicting and denouncing the official version on the number of Covid-19 infections in the Tindouf camps.

On Sunday, August 9, the security services of the Front summoned all the doctors, nurses and some bloggers to sign declarations of honor. They must therefore commit to no longer disseminating information on the health crisis contradicting the official reports presented by the spokesperson for the pandemic monitoring committee.

While no arrests have been made, so far, a doctor was questioned by police for more than three hours on the same day. He is the same person who published messages on social media, warning against the worrying health crisis in the Tindouf.

Earlier this month, doctors in the Tindouf camps said on social media that the number of coronavirus infections and deaths in the camps is higher than the one communicated by the Polisario leadership.
