King Mohammed VI, aboard his yacht Lalla Khaddouj and escorted by jet-skis, entered the waters of Ceuta briefly in the afternoon of Sunday, August 9.
A short video shared by local online newspaper El Faro de Ceuta shows the sovereign waving to bathers who chanted «long live the king».
The trip has nothing to do with the incident that occurred on August 7, 2014, when the same royal yacht was intercepted in the waters of Ceuta by a patrol of the maritime services of the Civil Guard.
An interception which, despite the apologies offered by King Felipe VI and the commander of the Civil Guard of Ceuta, it resulted in a brief cold between Rabat and Madrid.
