826 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 34,063.
1,177 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 24,524.
18 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 516. Morocco has 9,023 active cases under treatment. 127 of these cases are in a serious or critical condition, including 48 on ventilators.
The new cases were mostly recorded in the Casablanca-Settat region, with 295 infections. Then comes Fez-Meknes, with 114 cases.
The Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region recorded 103 coronavirus cases while Marrakech-Safi confirmed 100 infections. 78 cases were also recorded in the Daraa-Tafilalet region and 75 in Beni Mellal-Kheribga.
40 new infections were confirmed in the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region while only 8 others were identified in the Dakhla-Oued Dahab region.
8 new cases were confirmed in the Oriental region, 4 in Souss-Massa an one in Guelmim-Oued Noun.
