Covid-19 : The Polisario receives $12 million in foreign aid

Amid the coronavirus health crisis, the Polisario Front received a 12 million dollars grant, Futuro Sahara reported. The grant comes as the Front’s hospitals are lacking basic equipment in the middle of the health crisis.

In order to stem the embarrassing questions, the Sahrawi Red Crescent revealed that the Front received in foreign aid : €5 million from the European Union; $2 million from Germany, $1.9 million from Switzerland, $400 thousands from Canada, 3 million Norwegian crowns (~ € 283,000); 5 million Swedish Kronor (~ € 486,000); €320 thousand from Italy and €607 thousand from some autonomous regions in Spain. 

The list also includes 300 tons of food and medical supplies sent by Algeria during Ramadan.
