1,132 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 35,195.
861 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 25,385.
17 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 533. Morocco has 9,277 active cases under treatment. 132 of these cases are in a serious or critical condition, including 57 on ventilators.
The Casablanca-Settat region comes first with 391 new cases : 312 in Casablanca, 22 in Mediouna, 20 in Mohammedia, 17 in El Jadida, 9 in Benslimane, 7 in Settat and 4 in Nouaceur.
Next comes Marrakech-Safi with 195 cases : 147 in Marrakech, 27 in the province of El Haouz, 12 in Kelaat Sraghna, 7 in Chichaoua, one in Safi and another in Essaouira.
Fez-Meknes, 163 cases were recorded between yesterday and today : 70 in Fez, 30 in Taza, 28 in Meknes, 17 in Boulemane, 13 in El Hajeb and 5 in Sefrou. Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceïma has 140 new cases : 79 in Tangier, 41 in Tetouan, 10 in Larache, 9 in Al Hoceima and one in M'diq-Fnideq.
Rabat-Salé-Kenitra recorded 63 cases : 23 in Temara, 13 in Sale, 10 in Kenitra, 9 in Rabat, 5 in Sidi Slimane, 2 in Sidi Kacem and one in Khemisset.
52 cases were recorded in Drâa-Tafilalet (28 in Ouarzazate, 8 in Errachidia, 7 in Zagora, 6 in Midelt and three cases in Tinghir), while 50 cases were recorded in Beni Mellal-Khenifra (30 in Beni Mellal, 15 in Azilal and 5 in Khouribga).
There were also 45 cases recorded in Souss-Massa (27 in Agadir Idda-Ou-Tanan, 6 in Inzegane-Ait Melloul, 5 in Chtouka-Ait Baha, 4 in Tiznit and 3 in Taroudant), 19 cases in Oriental (6 in Driouch, 5 in Oujda, 3 in Berkane, 2 in Jerada, 2 in Nador and one in Taourirt).
10 cases were also recorded in Dakhla (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab) as well as 3 cases in Guelmim-Oued Noun (2 in Guelmim and 1 in Tan Tan) and one case in Laayoune (Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra).
