The Juventus Football Club was fined this week by FIFA for failing to follow the rules when concluding the deal that saw Moroccan footballer Mehdi Benatia sold to Al-Duhail.
According to Italian media, the Bianconeri were fined last year for an illegal clause they inserted into said deal. The Italian club was fined 40,000 Swiss francs by FIFA.
Meanwhile, the Qatari side paid €5 million in the event that they sold Benatia to following the clubs: Napoli, Milan, Inter, Rome, Lazio and French side PSG.
