Donald Trump’s senior advisor Jared Kushner did not refer to the Arab states that would be next in adopting the White House’s normalization proposal, which includes recognizing Israel as was the case for the United Arab Emirates.
However, the Washington Post reported, Friday, that the State Department officials said the next countries to normalize with Israel would be Oman, Bahrain and Morocco.
For their part, the Israeli media immediately made references to Morocco, evoking American «pressure» on the Kingdom to formalize relations with Tel Aviv, «in exchange for the recognition by Israel of Moroccan sovereignty over Western Sahara».
Quoting sources from the American administration, they announced that Morocco «could be part of the next Arab states which will normalize their relations with Israel», wrote the Washington Post.
