Morocco : Seven coronavirus cases within Raja Beni Mellal football club

Seven new coronavirus cases were recorded on Monday morning within the Raja Beni Mellal football club, it said on Facebook.

According to Alyaoum 24 coronavirus tests confirmed, Sunday, the infection of 6 players, bringing the total number of infections in the ranks of the football team to 14.

On Saturday, Raja Beni Mellal announced that former Raja Casablanca player Yassin Salhi, in addition to Soufiane Talal and three other players, are infected with the coronavirus, which has pushed local authorities and the Royal Moroccan Federation to football (FRMF) to cancel a game between the club Diffâa of El Jaddia. 

The Wydad Sporting Club, Ittihad Tanger and the Moghreb de Fez have already announced a number of coronavirus infections. The Tangier club has identified 33 cases among its players and technical staff.
