Moroccan-Norwegian footballer Omar Elabdellaoui will be loaned to Turkish club Galatasaray on a three-year contract. The 28-year-old is joining Istanbul for another transfer, after playing for Greek club Olympiakos.
According to Galatasaray, quoted by Daily Sabah, Elabdellaoui will receive 1.3 million euros for his first year at the club. Before signing with Olympiacos, Elabdellaoui already played for Feyenoord Rotterdam and Eintracht Braunschweig. He was also loaned to Hull City.
The player made 47 appearances in his last season and won the Super League title with the Greek side.
