1,245 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 44,803.
1,061 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 31,002.
33 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 714. These deaths were recorded in Marrakech (9), Casablanca (5), Fès (4), Tangier (3), Errachidia (2), Ouarzazate (2), El Haouz (1), Youssoufia (1), Al Hoceima (1), Dakhla (1), Salé (1), Safrou (1), Boulmane (1) and Khénifra (1)
Morocco now has 13,087 active cases under treatment, most of them are in the regions of Casablanca-Settat (4,509), Marrakech-Safi (2,471), Fez-Meknes (1,381), Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceïma (1,222), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (1,207) and Beni Mellal-Khénifra (1,055).
184 cases are in a serious or critical condition because of age and / or chronic diseases, including 65 on ventilators. These cases are located in Casablanca-Settat (61), Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma (40), Marrakech-Safi (30), Fès-Meknès (18), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (13), Drâa-Tafilalet (8), the Oriental (8), Souss-Massa (4), Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab (1) and Beni Mellal-Khénifra (1).
The Casablanca-Settat region comes first with 351 new cases : 259 in Casablanca, 22 in Settat, 20 in El Jadida, 14 in Mohammedia, 14 in Berrechid, 8 in Benslimane, 8 in Nouaceur, 4 cases in Médiouna and two cases in Sidi Bennour.
Next comes Beni Mellal-Khénifra with 190 new cases : 148 in Beni Mellal, 19 in Azilal, 13 in Khénifra, 7 cases in Fqih Bensaleh and 3 cases in Khouribga.
Marrakech-Safi recorded 151 new cases : 62 cases in Marrakech, 36 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 19 in Youssoufia, 13 in El Haouz, 9 in Chichaoua, 7 in Essaouira and 5 cases in Rhamna. 135 new cases were recorded in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra : 40 cases in Salé, 37 in Kénitra, 29 in Skhirat-Témara, 17 in Khmissat, 8 in Rabat, 3 in Sidi Kacem and one case in Sidi Slimane .
Fez-Meknes recorded, during the last 24 hours, 126 infections : 81 in Fez, 21 in Boulmane, 14 in Meknes, 6 in Taounate, two cases in Ifrane and two cases in Taza. 106 cases were confirmed in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima : 57 in Tangier, 13 in Tétouan, 19 in Larache, 6 cases in M'diq-Fnideq, 6 cases in Ouazzane, two cases in Al Hoceima, two cases in Chefchaouen and a case in Al Fahs Anjra.
78 cases were recorded, during the last 24 hours, in Drâa-Tafilalet (38 cases in Errachidia, 23 cases in Ouarzazate, 11 in Midelt and six cases in Tinghir), 53 cases in Souss-Massa (37 in Agadir Idda-Ou-Tanan, 8 in Tata, 8 in Inzegane-Ait-Melloul) and 21 cases in the Oriental region (14 in Oujda-Angad, 4 in Nador, two cases in Figuig and one case in Berkane).
20 cases were found in Dakhla (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab) and 12 cases in Laayoune and 1 in Boujdour (Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra). One case was recorded in Guelmimn (Guelmim-Oued Noun).
