The British community in Morocco has raised a total of 114,172 MAD in support of the Kingdom’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic. The funds will be donated to the Special Fund for the Management of the Covid-19 pandemic, a press release sent Wednesday to Yabiladi read.
«As foreign guests living in Morocco, we love our host country and we wanted to do something practical to show our solidarity with the Moroccan people and to express our support for them during this difficult time», Alan Keohane, a British professional photographer resident in Morocco since 1993 and the current chairperson of the British Business Association (BBA) Morocco said.
For the record, the Covid-19 Special Fund was created earlier this year by King Mohammed VI to manage the health crisis.
