1,510 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 46,313.
574 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 31,576.
29 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 743. These deaths were recorded in Casablanca (8), Marrakech (5), Tangier (4), Fès (2), Ouarzazate (2), Oujda (1), Essaouira (1), Safrou (1), Meknès (1 ), Tetouan (1), Al Hoceima (1), Midelt (1) and Zagoura (1).
Morocco now has 13,994 active cases, most of them are in the regions of Casablanca-Settat (4,832), Marrakech-Safi (2,584), Fez-Meknes (1,493 ), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (1,381), Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma (1,245) and Beni Mellal-Khénifra (1,045).
201 cases are in a serious or critical condition because of age and / or chronic diseases, including 59 on ventilators.
The Casablanca-Settat region recorded 478 new cases : 409 in Casablanca, 22 in Nouaceur, 20 in Mohammedia, 15 in Settat, 6 in Mediouna, 4 in Berrachid and two cases in El Jadida.
Next comes Marrakech-Safi, with 240 new case : 165 in Marrakech, 58 cases in Kelaa des Sraghna, 10 cases in Essaouira, 4 in Safi and three cases in Rhmana.
Rabat-Salé-Kénitra recorded 178 new cases : 59 cases in Kénitra, 34 in Salé, 30 in Rabat, 21 in Skhirat-Témara, 15 in Sidi Slimane, 12 in Sidi Kacem and 7 cases in Khmissat.
147 cases were recorded in Fez-Meknes : 91 in Fez, 27 in Meknes, 14 in Safrou, 6 in Boulmane, 5 in Taounate and 4 cases in Taza.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima recorded 129 new infections : 65 in Tangier, 28 in Tétouan, 16 in Al Hoceima, 11 cases in Larache, 7 cases in M'diq-Fnideq and two cases in Chefchaouen.
Drâa-Tafilalet recorded 122 new cases : 95 cases in Errachidia, 16 cases in Ouarzazate, 10 in Midelt and one case in Tinghir.
82 cases were recorded in Beni Mellal-Khénifra (58 in Beni Mellal, 13 in Khouribga and 11 in Fqih Bensaleh), 78 cases in Souss-Massa (28 in Agadir Idda-Ou-Tanan, 25 in Tata, 12 in Inzegane-Ait-Melloul, 12 in Tiznit and one case in Taroudant) and 27 cases in the Oriental region (8 in Nador, 7 in Berkane, 6 in Oujda, 4 in Guercif, one case in Taourirt and one case in Jerada).
20 cases were recorded in Laayoune (Laâyoune -Sakia El Hamra), 7 cases were recorded in Dakhla (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab) while two cases were recorded in Tan Tan (Guelmim-Oued Noun).
