903 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 53,252.
1,135 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 37,478.
32 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 920. These deaths were recorded in Casablanca (5), Fès (4), Tétouan (3), Marrakech (11), Salé (1), Rabat (1), Tanger (1), Berrechid (1), Guersif ( 1), Meknes (1) and Kelaat Sraghna (1).
The country now has 14,854 active cases under treatment. They are mainly located in Casablanca-Settat, Marrakech-Safi, Rabat-Salé, Fez-Meknès, Beni Mellal-Khénifra and Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima.
The number of critically ill patients has dropped to 170 cases, including 33 on ventilators.
The Casablanca-Settat region has 290 new cases : 261 in Casablanca, 14 in Nouaceur, 5 in Mediouna, 5 in Berrechid, 3 in Benslimane and two cases in Mohammedia. Next comes Marrakech-Safi with 159 new cases : 71 in Marrakech, 52 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 20 in Essaouira, 12 in Youssoufia and 4 cases in Rhamna.
In Fez-Meknes, 138 new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours : 77 in Fez, 33 in Meknes, 15 in Ifrane, 7 in Taza, 3 in Sefrou, 2 in Boulemane and one Moulay Yacoub case. 103 cases were recorded in Beni Mellal-Khénifra : 79 in Beni Mellal, 14 cases in Fqih Bensaleh, 8 in Khénifra and two cases in Khouribga.
Rabat-Salé-Kénitra follows with 81 new infections : 35 in Salé, 23 in Kénitra, 16 in Rabat, 6 cases in Skhirat-Témara and one case in Sidi Kacem. 34 cases were recorded in Drâa-Tafilale t: 26 in Ouarzazate, 6 in Zagora and two cases in Tinghir.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima has 31 cases : 7 in Tangier, 6 cases in Tétouan, 6 in Larache, 5 cases in Chefchaouen, 3 in M'diq-Fnideq, two cases in Al Hoceima, one case in Ouazzane and a case in Al Fahs Anjra.
There are also 30 cases recorded in Souss-Massa (25 in Agadir Idda Outanane, 4 cases in Inzegane-Ait Melloul and one case in Tiznit), 24 cases in the Oriental (11 cases in Oujda-Angad, 8 cases in Guercif and 5 cases in Berkane) and 13 cases in Dakhla (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab).
