A Dutch-Moroccan sentenced for placing fake bomb outside a Jewish restaurant in Amsterdam

A Dutch-Moroccan man who placed a fake bomb at the door of a kosher restaurant in Amsterdam was sentenced, Wednesday, eight months in prison by a court in the capital.

According to Dutch News, the man was also handed a suspended four-month sentence. Known as Hassan N., the man put in January a cardboard box in front of HaCarmel restaurant. «The box had masking tape fastening wires and a black electric trigger switch to its top», but included no explosives, JTA wrote.

Hassan N. was identified through DNA found on the wires and security camera footage. The same man was previously convicted for insulting a worker and calling his a «cancer Jew».
