1,567 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 60,056.
1,569 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 44,618.
26 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,078. These deaths were recorded in Grand Casablanca, 5 in Marrakech, 4 in Fez, 2 in Errachdia, 2 in El Hajeb, 1 in Settat, 1 in Sidi Slimane, 1 in Inezgane Aït Melloul, 1 in Meknès and 1 in Ifrane.
The country now has 14,360 active cases under treatment. The number of critically ill patients reached 198, including 41 on ventilatos. 18 of them are in Casablanca-Settat, 7 in Marrakech-Safi, 9 in Fez-Meknès, 3 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 2 Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma, 1 in Drâa-Tafilalet and 1 in the Oriental.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 609 cases : 514 in Grand Casablanca, 35 in Nouaceur, 22 in Settat, 16 in Médiouna, 8 in Berrechid, 7 in Mohammedia, 6 in El Jadida, 1 in Sidi Bennour.
Next comes Marrakech-Safi with 349 new cases : 200 in Marrakech, 57 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 41 in Safi, 24 in Rehamna, 20 in Essaouira, 6 in Chichaouia, 1 in El Youssoufia. Rabat-Salé-Kénitra recorded 132 : 49 in Salé, 29 in Kénitra, 23 in Rabat, 15 in Skhirat-Témara, 8 in Sidi Kacem and 8 in Khemisset.
Fez-Meknes follows with 122 new infections : 57 in Fez, 34 in Meknes, 11 in Taza, 6 in Ifrane, 6 in Taounate, 5 in Boulemane, 2 in El Hajeb and 1 in Sefrou. Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma recorded 112 cases : 69 in Tangier, 17 in Tetouan, 12 in Al Hoceïma, 8 in M'diq-Fnidek, 5 in Larache and 1 in Chefchaouen.
As for Drâa-Tafilalet, it recorded 95 new infections : 47 in Errachidia, 24 in Ouarzazate, 15 in Midelt, 8 in Tinghir and 1 in Zagora. Beni Mellal-Khénifra has 49 cases : 14 in Azilal, 13 in Khénifra, 11 in Beni Mellal, 9 in Khouribga and 2 in Fqih Ben Salah. In Souss-Massa, 34 cases were confirmed : 27 in Agadir, 6 in Inezgane Aït Melloul and 1 in Tiznit.
In the Oriental region confirmed 24 infections : 15 in Oujda-Angad and 9 in Nador. Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab confirmed 21, all in the city of Dakhla. Laayoune-Es Sakia El Hamra recorded 19 : 12 in the province of Es Semara, 5 in Tarfaya and 2 in Laayoune. The only case recorded in Guelmim-Oued Noun was confirmed in Tan Tan province.
