Moroccan footballer Munir El Kajoui is expected to join a Turkish club for next season, Marca and AS reported. The same sources indicate that the goalkeeper could join Hatayspor.

The Atlas Lions goalkeeper left the FC Malaga concentration hotel on Tuesday afternoon to take a flight to Turkey, the two sources say.

With the resumption of training a week ago, Mounir was surprised to see his name in a list of 11 players, which the Andalusian club wants to abandon due to financial problems.

Iberian media first predicted his departure to Leganès, the club from the suburbs of Madrid which plays in the first division, then to FC Besiktas in Turkey.

Mounir El Kajoui won the Zamora Trophy, awarded to the goalkeeper with the lowest ratio of goals conceded per match during the Spanish league season. Of the 38 games in the second division, which he played, the Moroccan conceded only 29 goals.
