Moroccan associations, left-wing parties and trade unions have said that they reject Jared Kushner's expected visit to the kingdom in a petition, Turkish news agency Anadolu reports.

The petition comes as a response to «the so-called peace agreement and attempts by Washington and the Zionist entity to push Morocco towards normalization».

The petition was signed by associations supporting the struggle of the Palestinian people and the Unity and Reform Movement, the three parties of the Democratic Left Federation, the National Union of the Moroccan Press (SNPM), the Democratic Confederation of Labor (CDT) and the Moroccan Labor Union (UMT) among others.

Since Sunday August 30, Jared Kushner has been touring Israel and some Arab countries. He visited the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Qatar.

For the record, King Mohammed VI received Jared Kushner on May 28, 2019 in Sale. The talks «focused on the strengthening of the long-standing, solid and multidimensional strategic partnership between Morocco and the United States, as well as the developments experienced by the region of North Africa and the Middle East».
