2,397 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 107,743.
2,361 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 88,244.
29 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,918. These deaths were recorded in Casablanca (12), Agadir (4), Marrakech (2), Meknès (2), Fqih Bensaleh (2), Khouribga (2), Tanger-Assilah (1), Azilal (1), Errachidia (1), Midelt (1) and Salé (1).
The country has 17,581 active cases, including 281 in critical conditions. 47 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 1,120 cases: 875 in Casablanca, 58 in El Jadida, 57 in Nouaceur, 49 in Mohammedia, 29 in Settat, 24 in Mediouna, 15 in Berrechid, 7 in Sidi Bennour and 6 cases in Benslimane. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kenitra with 338 new infections: 99 in Kénitra, 81 in Khemisset, 78 in Salé, 41 in Skhirat-Témara, 21 in Rabat and 18 in Sidi Kacem.
Marrakech-Safi follows with 212 new cases: 151 in Marrakech, 20 in Rhamna, 15 in Al Haouz, 13 in Youssoufia, 7 in Chichaoua, 4 in Essaouira and two cases in Safi. 155 new cases were recorded in Drâa-Tafilalet: 77 in Errachidia, 40 in Midelt, 33 in Tinghir and 5 cases in Ouarzazate.
Beni Mellal-Khénifra confirmed 142 new infections: 39 in Beni Mellal, 36 in Khenifra, 28 in Khouribga, 27 in Fqih Bensaleh and 12 cases in Azilal.
In Souss-Massa, 112 new cases were confirmed: 70 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 27 in Taroudant, 10 in Chtouka Ait Baha and 5 cases in Inzegane-Ait-Melloul.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima recorded 111 new cases: 45 in Tanger-Assilah, 32 in Tetouan, 11 in Larache, 10 in Al Hoceima, 10 in M'diq-Fnideq, one case in Chefchaouen, one case in Fahs Anjra and a case in Ouazzane.
There are also 72 cases confirmed in the Oriental region (62 in Oujda-Angad, 4 in Jerada, 3 in Nador, 2 in Berkane and one case in Driouch) and 70 infections identified in Fès-Meknes (23 in Taza, 21 in Fès, 12 in Meknes, 9 in Sefrou, 4 in Ifrane and one case in El Hajeb).
In the southern provinces, 29 new cases were recorded in Guelmim-Oued Noun (11 in Guelmim, 10 in Assa Zag, 6 in Sidi Ifni and two cases in Tan Tan), 22 in the province of 'Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab) 14 in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (11 in Laâyoune, two in Boujdour and one case in Es-Smara).
