Football : Enzo Zidane to join Morocco’s Wydad Casablanca

Son of former French player Zinedine Zidane, who formerly coached Real Madrid, Enzo will be joining Wydad Casablanca this year. His manager Roberto Carlos, announced the news on social media.

2m.ma was able to confirm the information speaking to an authorized source within the club. The latter indicated that the deal has already been concluded. «The presentation will take place at a later date», according to the same source, and details of the contract will be announced later.

Enzo Zidane, a midfielder, was trained within Real Madrid which he left in 2017. Marca recalls that he played for several distinguished teams, like Deportivo Alavés, Lausanne Sport, Rayo Majadahonda and the Clube Desportivo das Aves. In January 2020, he was transferred to Almería.
