Police in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, a state in north Germany, are still searching for a 29-year-old man accused of kidnapping a baby of Moroccan origin in Schwerin.
According to Deutsche Presse-Agentur (DPA), the father abducted the child earlier in September while he was in a park with his mother, a Moroccan who has the child’s sole custody.
Since Friday, the Tunisian has been wanted in Europe, through an arrest warrant issued by the German authorities, the same source said, adding that they have photos showing a bearded man with the missing child.
