Despite the global health crisis and border closure, drug traffickers are trying to find creative ways to smuggle hashish between Morocco and Ceuta.

On Thursday, the Civil Guard recovered a drone used to transport small quantities of hashish between Morocco and Ceuta.

According to El Faro de Ceuta, the handler lost control of the device, which was detected by thermal cameras on the high border fence separating Morocco from Ceuta.

The drone crashed in the forests of Garcia Aldave. It carried a 4 kg package of Hashish
