2,521 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 128,565.
1,908 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 106,044.
34 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 2,263. These deaths were recorded in Casablanca (9), Marrakech (6), Khénifra (3), Errachidia (2), Taza (2), Meknès (1), Larache (1), Zagora (1), Midelt (1) , Ouarzazate (1), Berkane (1), Oujda-Angad (1), Rhamna (1), Beni Mellal (1), Skhirat-Témara (1) and Kénitra (1).
The country has 20,258 active cases, including 451 in critical conditions. 51 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat records with 1,247 cases: 988 in Casablanca, 62 in El Jadida, 59 in Berrechid, 48 in Settat, 33 in Nouaceur, 30 in Mohammedia, 16 in Sidi Bennour, 8 in Mediouna and 3 cases in Benslimane.
Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kenitra with 215 new infections: 73 in Kénitra, 37 in Rabat, 29 in Skhirat-Témara, 29 in Salé, 24 in Khemisset, 13 in Sidi Slimane and 10 cases in Sidi Kacem.
Souss-Massa follows with 210 new cases: 154 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 42 in Inzegane-Ait Melloul, 9 in Taroudant, 3 in Chtouka Ait Baha and 2 cases in Tiznit.
169 new infections were confirmed in Beni Mellal-Khénifra: 68 in Beni Mellal, 58 in Khouribga, 19 in Azilal, 12 in Khénifra and 12 cases in Fqih Bensaleh.
Marrakech-Safi recorded 165 new cases: 89 in Marrakech, 24 in Sraghna, 17 in Rhamna, 12 in Youssoufia, 9 in Essaouira, 7 in Al Haouz, 5 in Chichaoua and two cases in Safi.
The Oriental region recorded 158 new cases: 71 in Oujda-Angad, 31 in Figuig, 18 in Nador, 16 in Jerada, 13 in Berkane, 8 in Guercif and one Driouch case.
150 cases were confirmed in Drâa-Tafilalet: 44 in Errachidia, 38 in Ouarzazate, 35 in Tinghir, 29 in Midelt and 4 cases in Zagora.
81 cases rwere ecorded in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (34 in Tétouan, 28 in Tanger-Assilah, 14 in Larache, 3 in M'Diq-Fnideq and two cases in Al Hoceima) and 58 new infections in Fès-Meknes (19 in Fès, 12 in Taza, 11 in Meknes, 6 in Sefrou, 6 in Taounate, 2 in Boulmane, one case in El Hajeb and another in Ifrane).
In the southern provinces, Guelmim-Oued Noun recorded 32 new cases (18 in Guelmim and 14 in Assa Zag), Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra confirmed 21 cases (17 in Laâyoune, 3 cases in Es-Smara and one cases in Boujdour), while 15 infections were recorded in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab).
