2,553 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 137,248.
2,018 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 115,354.
41 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 2,410. 17 of these deaths were recorded in the region of Casablanca-Settat, 6 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra, 3 in Souss-Massa, 3 in Fès-Meknès, 3 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma, 2 in Guelmim-Oued Noun, 2 in Drâa-Tafilalet, 2 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 2 in the Oriental and one death in Marrakech-Safi.
The country has 19,484 active cases, including 434 in critical conditions. 37 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 1,420 cases: 1,019 in Casablanca, 100 in Settat, 82 in Mohammedia, 80 in Berrechid, 71 in Nouaceur, 35 in Mediouna, 29 in El Jadida and 4 cases in Benslimane.
Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, with 271 cases: 84 in Skhirat-Témara, 57 in Khemisset, 40 in Kénitra, 30 in Sidi Kacem, 27 in Salé, 23 in Rabat and 10 cases in Sidi Slimane.
Marrakech-Safi follows with 161 new infections: 120 in Marrakech, 16 in Youssoufia, 11 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 10 in Essaouira and 4 in the province of Rhamna.
158 cases were confirmed in the Oriental: 105 in Oudja-Angad, 25 in Jerada, 10 in Figuig, 7 in Nador, 7 in Berkane, 2 cases in Taourirt, one case in Driouch and another in Guercif.
Souss-Massa recorded 153 new infections: 96 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 28 in Inzegane-Ait Melloul, 19 in Taroudant, 7 in Chtouka Ait Baha and 3 cases in Tiznit.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima recorded 113 new cases: 40 in Tanger-Assilah, 33 in Tetouan, 19 in M'Diq-Fnideq, 16 in Al Hoceima and 5 cases in Larache. Beni Mellal-Khénifra confirmed 103: 21 in Fqih Bensaleh, 28 in Beni Mellal, 25 in Khouribga, 14 in Azilal and 5 cases in Khénifra.
69 new cases were confirmed in Drâa-Tafilalet (27 in Errachidia, 24 in Ouarzazate, 12 in Midelt, 4 in Zagora and 2 cases in Tinghir) and 48 in Fès-Meknès (16 in Meknes, 13 in Fez, 13 in Taza, 3 in El Hajeb, one case in Taounate, one case in Boulmane and another in Ifrane).
In the southern provinces, Guelmim-Oued Noun recorded 27 new infections (17 in Guelmim, 8 in Assa Zag, one case in Tan Tan and another in Sidi Ifni) while 20 cases were confirmed in Laâyoune (Laâyoune -Sakia El Hamra) and 10 others in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab).
