In its annual report on the state of human rights in Morocco for the year 2025, Amnesty International painted a bleak picture of the evolution of freedoms and rights, noting an increase in pressures on freedom of expression and a widening scope of legal proceedings against journalists and activists, alongside escalating social and economic challenges.
Amnesty International’s latest report accuses Israel of committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, citing killings, displacement, and inhumane conditions as part of a deliberate effort to destroy the population. The findings, based on extensive research and evidence, also warn that states supplying arms to Israel risk complicity in these acts.
