The United States is dissatisfied with the budget allocated to peacekeeping missions created by the United Nations. The Trump administration announced that it will pay no more than 25 percent of peacekeeping expenses, a decision that would affect MINURSO.
Three Sahrawis have been sitting-in in front of the MINURSO’s headquarters in Mijek since Wednesday to protest against the Polisario and Algeria. Their action is embarrassing to the Front, according to Mustapha Salma Ould Sidi Mouloud.
