In response to mobilization by the Polisario and its supporters in Spain, France and at the UN, the DGAPR says that Naama Asfari, who is being held in Kenitra in connection with the Gdim Izik case, has been receiving regular medical monitoring since beginning his hunger strike. The prison administration says his condition is stable, following several examinations and a transfer to hospital.
