Beyond the standout lineup on the stages of the 18th Jazzablanca, held from July 3 to 12, 2025, the entire host city pulsed with the sounds of jazz. With his brass band, American trombonist Glen David Andrews brought the spirit of New Orleans to the streets of Casablanca, much to the delight of residents of all ages.
The final night of Jazzablanca 2024 delivered a powerful blend of music, unity, and activism, featuring standout performances by Jupiter & Okwess, Mehdi Nassouli, Hamid El Kasri and Macklemore. The evening ended on an emotional note as Macklemore honored Palestine with heartfelt words and music, calling it «the show of the summer».
On the third night of Jazzablanca, a vibrant crowd gathered for an electrifying lineup featuring Caravan Palace and the Black Eyed Peas. From Nubya Garcia’s powerful saxophone set to a confetti-filled finale with will.i.am draped in the Moroccan flag, the night was a celebration of rhythm, energy, and connection.
The second night of Jazzablanca lit up Casablanca with standout performances by Brazilian icon Seu Jorge and funk legends Kool & The Gang, who brought samba, bossa nova, and decades of soul-funk energy to the stage. From guitar magic to trumpet solos and confetti showers, the crowd danced, sang, and celebrated a night to remember.
