New terminals to make Morocco's Tanger Med the Mediterranean’s largest port

Morocco is expected to open new terminals at Tanger Med, extending its volume and allowing it to become the Mediterranean’s largest port in terms container capacity. 

Months before launching a second facility, Tanger Med 1 named Africa's largest container port

Months after launching its second facility, Tanger Med 1 ranks 1st in Africa as the largest TFU container. The port is 45th in the World, according to the World Top Container Ports report.
