Morocco’s Minister for Energy Transition, Leila Benali, discussed the country's green energy achievements and ambitious goals. Morocco's 2023 energy report by ANRE highlights a 2.3% rise in electricity production to 42.38 TWh, with renewables contributing 21.7% due to advances in solar and wind energy. However, coal remains dominant at 64%, while hydropower declines amid water stress.
