A well-known bassist on the Moroccan scene, Khalil Bensouda uses his musical instrument to blur the lines between styles and make room for experimentation. Self-taught in mastering the bass, he is dedicated to passing on this learning and enriching his artistic expression, particularly through his band Urban Folklore.
His talent was confirmed on the rap scene when he chose to take the reverse path of migration. After studying computer engineering and building a career as a digital project manager in France, Ouenza found his way back to the studio upon returning to Morocco. Riding the momentum of his musical success, the Casablanca-based rapper is now carving out a parallel career in acting, without putting down the microphone.
