12.36.وَدَخَلَ مَعَهُ السِّجْنَ فَتَيَانَ قَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا إِنِّي أَرَانِي أَعْصِرُ خَمْراً وَقَالَ الآخَرُ إِنِّي أَرَانِي أَحْمِلُ فَوْقَ رَأْسِي خُبْزاً تَأْكُلُ الطَّيْرُ مِنْهُ نَبِّئْنَا بِتَأْوِيلِهِ إِنَّا نَرَاكَ مِنَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
12.36. Deux jeunes gens entrèrent en prison en même temps que Joseph. L'un d'eux dit : «J'ai rêvé que je pressais du raisin.» – «Et moi, dit l'autre, j'ai rêvé que je portais sur ma tête du pain que des oiseaux venaient becqueter. Fais-nous connaître la signification de ces rêves, car nous voyons en toi un homme de bien.»
12.36 . And two young men went to prison with him . One of them said : I dreamed that I was pressing wine . The other said I dreamed that I was carrying upon my head bread whereof the birds were eating . Announce unto us the interpretation , for we see thee of those good ( at interpretation ) .
12.36. Wadakhala maAAahu alssijna fatayani qala ahaduhuma innee aranee aAAsiru khamran waqala al-akharu innee aranee ahmilu fawqa ra/see khubzan ta/kulu alttayru minhu nabbi/na bita/weelihi inna naraka mina almuhsineena
12.37.قَالَ لاَ يَأْتِيكُمَا طَعَامٌ تُرْزَقَانِهِ إِلاَّ نَبَّأْتُكُمَا بِتَأْوِيلِهِ قَبْلَ أَن يَأْتِيكُمَا ذَلِكُمَا مِمَّا عَلَّمَنِي رَبِّي إِنِّي تَرَكْتُ مِلَّةَ قَوْمٍ لاَّ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّهِ وَهُم بِالآخِرَةِ هُمْ كَافِرُونَ
12.37. Joseph leur répondit : «On ne vous aura pas encore apporté votre ration journalière que je vous aurai déjà expliqué vos rêves. Cet art fait partie de ce que mon Seigneur m'a enseigné. En vérité, j'ai abandonné la religion d'un peuple qui ne croit pas en Dieu et qui nie la vie future.
12.37 . He said : The food which ye are given ( daily ) shall not come unto you but I shall tell you the interpretation ere it cometh unto you . This is of that which my Lord hath taught me . Lo! I have forsaken the religion of folk who believe not in Allah and are disbelievers in the Hereafter .
12.37. Qala la ya/teekuma taAAamun turzaqanihi illa nabba/tukuma bita/weelihi qabla an ya/tiyakuma thalikuma mimma AAallamanee rabbee innee taraktu millata qawmin la yu/minoona biAllahi wahum bial-akhirati hum kafiroona
12.38.وَاتَّبَعْتُ مِلَّةَ آبَآئِـي إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ مَا كَانَ لَنَا أَن نُّشْرِكَ بِاللّهِ مِن شَيْءٍ ذَلِكَ مِن فَضْلِ اللّهِ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى النَّاسِ وَلَـكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لاَ يَشْكُرُونَ
12.38. Et j'ai suivi la religion de mes ancêtres, Abraham, Isaac et Jacob. Nous n'associons aucune créature à Dieu. C'est là une grâce de Dieu pour nous et pour tous les hommes. Mais la plupart de ces derniers ne sont point reconnaissants.
12.38 . And I have followed the religion of my fathers , Abraham and Isaac and Jacob . It never was for us to attribute aught as partner to Allah . This is of the bounty of Allah unto us ( the seed of Abraham ) and unto mankind ; but most men give not thanks .
12.38. WaittabaAAtu millata aba-ee ibraheema wa-ishaqa wayaAAqooba ma kana lana an nushrika biAllahi min shay-in thalika min fadli Allahi AAalayna waAAala alnnasi walakinna akthara alnnasi la yashkuroona
12.39.يَا صَاحِبَيِ السِّجْنِ أَأَرْبَابٌ مُّتَفَرِّقُونَ خَيْرٌ أَمِ اللّهُ الْوَاحِدُ الْقَهَّارُ
12.39. Ô vous, mes deux compagnons de prison ! Que vaut-il mieux? Une multitude de divinités ou Dieu l'Unique, le Dominateur suprême?
12.39 . O my two fellow prisoners! Are divers lords better , or Allah the One , the Almighty?
12.39. Ya sahibayi alssijni aarbabun mutafarriqoona khayrun ami Allahu alwahidu alqahharu
12.40.مَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِهِ إِلاَّ أَسْمَاء سَمَّيْتُمُوهَا أَنتُمْ وَآبَآؤُكُم مَّا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ بِهَا مِن سُلْطَانٍ إِنِ الْحُكْمُ إِلاَّ لِلّهِ أَمَرَ أَلاَّ تَعْبُدُواْ إِلاَّ إِيَّاهُ ذَلِكَ الدِّينُ الْقَيِّمُ وَلَـكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ
12.40. Ceux que vous adorez en dehors de Dieu ne sont que des noms que vous avez inventés, vous et vos ancêtres, et auxquels le Seigneur n'a conféré aucun pouvoir. En vérité, le pouvoir n'appartient qu'à Dieu qui a prescrit de n'adorer que Lui. Telle est la vraie religion, mais bien peu de gens le savent.
12.40 . Those whom ye worship beside Him are but names which ye have named , ye and your fathers . Allah hath revealed no sanction for them . The decision rests with Allah only , Who hath commanded you that ye worship none save Him . This is the right religion , but most men know not .
12.40. Ma taAAbudoona min doonihi illa asmaan sammaytumooha antum waabaokum ma anzala Allahu biha min sultanin ini alhukmu illa lillahi amara alla taAAbudoo illa iyyahu thalika alddeenu alqayyimu walakinna akthara alnnasi la yaAAlamoona
