12.41.يَا صَاحِبَيِ السِّجْنِ أَمَّا أَحَدُكُمَا فَيَسْقِي رَبَّهُ خَمْراً وَأَمَّا الآخَرُ فَيُصْلَبُ فَتَأْكُلُ الطَّيْرُ مِن رَّأْسِهِ قُضِيَ الأَمْرُ الَّذِي فِيهِ تَسْتَفْتِيَانِ
12.41. Ô vous, mes deux compagnons de prison ! L'un de vous servira d'échanson pour donner du vin à son maître , quant à l'autre, il sera crucifié et les oiseaux lui picoreront la tête. C'est la réponse irrévocable à la question que vous posez.»
12.41 . O my two fellow prisoners! As for one of you , he will pour out wine for his lord to drink ; and as for the other , he will be crucified so that the birds will eat from his head . Thus is the case judged concerning which ye did inquire .
12.41. Ya sahibayi alssijni amma ahadukuma fayasqee rabbahu khamran waamma al-akharu fayuslabu fata/kulu alttayru min ra/sihi qudiya al-amru allathee feehi tastaftiyani
12.42.وَقَالَ لِلَّذِي ظَنَّ أَنَّهُ نَاجٍ مِّنْهُمَا اذْكُرْنِي عِندَ رَبِّكَ فَأَنسَاهُ الشَّيْطَانُ ذِكْرَ رَبِّهِ فَلَبِثَ فِي السِّجْنِ بِضْعَ سِنِينَ
12.42. S'adressant à celui qui, à son avis, devait être sauvé, Joseph lui demanda d'attirer sur lui l'attention de son maître . Mais Satan lui fit oublier de parler à son maître de Joseph. Aussi ce dernier séjourna-t-il quelques années encore en prison.
12.42 . And he said unto him of the twain who he knew would be released : Mention me in the presence of thy lord . But Satan caused him to forget to mention it to his lord , so he ( Joseph ) stayed in prison for some years .
12.42. Waqala lillathee thanna annahu najin minhuma othkurnee AAinda rabbika faansahu alshshaytanu thikra rabbihi falabitha fee alssijni bidAAa sineena
12.43.وَقَالَ الْمَلِكُ إِنِّي أَرَى سَبْعَ بَقَرَاتٍ سِمَانٍ يَأْكُلُهُنَّ سَبْعٌ عِجَافٌ وَسَبْعَ سُنبُلاَتٍ خُضْرٍ وَأُخَرَ يَابِسَاتٍ يَا أَيُّهَا الْمَلأُ أَفْتُونِي فِي رُؤْيَايَ إِن كُنتُمْ لِلرُّؤْيَا تَعْبُرُونَ
12.43. «J'ai vu en songe, dit le roi , sept vaches grasses dévorées par sept vaches maigres, et aussi sept épis verts et sept autres secs. Honorable assemblée ! Expliquez-moi ma vision, si vous savez interpréter les songes !»
12.43 . And the king said : Lo! I saw in a dream seven fat kine which seven lean were eating , and seven green ears of corn and other ( seven ) dry . O notables! Expound for me my vision , if ye can interpret dreams .
12.43. Waqala almaliku innee ara sabAAa baqaratin simanin ya/kuluhunna sabAAun AAijafun wasabAAa sunbulatin khudrin waokhara yabisatin ya ayyuha almalao aftoonee fee ru/yaya in kuntum lilrru/ya taAAburoona
12.44.قَالُواْ أَضْغَاثُ أَحْلاَمٍ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِتَأْوِيلِ الأَحْلاَمِ بِعَالِمِينَ
12.44. – «Ce n'est là, dirent les courtisans, qu'un amas de songes confus. Du reste, nous n'entendons rien à l'interprétation des rêves.»
12.44 . They answered : Jumbled dreams! And we are not knowing in the interpretation of dreams .
12.44. Qaloo adghathu ahlamin wama nahnu bita/weeli al-ahlami biAAalimeena
12.45.وَقَالَ الَّذِي نَجَا مِنْهُمَا وَادَّكَرَ بَعْدَ أُمَّةٍ أَنَاْ أُنَبِّئُكُم بِتَأْوِيلِهِ فَأَرْسِلُونِ
12.45. Or, celui des deux prisonniers qui avait eu la vie sauve se souvint enfin de Joseph et dit : «Moi, je suis en mesure de vous en donner l'interprétation. Laissez-moi aller la chercher !»
12.45 . And he of the two who was released , and ( now ) at length remembered , said : I am going to announce unto you the interpretation , therefore send me forth .
12.45. Waqala allathee naja minhuma waiddakara baAAda ommatin ana onabbi-okum bita/weelihi faarsilooni
