16.56.وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِمَا لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ نَصِيباً مِّمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ تَاللّهِ لَتُسْأَلُنَّ عَمَّا كُنتُمْ تَفْتَرُونَ

16.56. Ils réservent une partie des biens que Nous leur avons accordés à des divinités dont ils n'ont aucune connaissance. Par Dieu, vous aurez à répondre de vos inventions mensongères !

16.56 . And they assign a portion of that which We have given them unto what they know not . By Allah! but ye will indeed be asked concerning ( all ) that ye used to invent .

16.56. WayajAAaloona lima la yaAAlamoona naseeban mimma razaqnahum taAllahi latus-alunna AAamma kuntum taftaroona

16.57.وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِلّهِ الْبَنَاتِ سُبْحَانَهُ وَلَهُم مَّا يَشْتَهُونَ

16.57. Ils attribuent des filles à Dieu. Qu'Il soit exalté ! Et à eux-mêmes ils attribuent ce qu'ils désirent.

16.57 . And they assign unto Allah daughters . Be He glorified! and unto themselves what they desire ;

16.57. WayajAAaloona lillahi albanati subhanahu walahum ma yashtahoona

16.58.وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُمْ بِالأُنثَى ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُ مُسْوَدّاً وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ

16.58. Et lorsqu'on annonce à l'un d'entre eux la naissance d'une fille, son visage s'assombrit et il arrive à peine à contenir sa colère.

16.58 . When if one of them receiveth tidings of the birth of a female , his face remaineth darkened , and he is wroth inwardly .

16.58. Wa-itha bushshira ahaduhum bialontha thalla wajhuhu muswaddan wahuwa katheemun

16.59.يَتَوَارَى مِنَ الْقَوْمِ مِن سُوءِ مَا بُشِّرَ بِهِ أَيُمْسِكُهُ عَلَى هُونٍ أَمْ يَدُسُّهُ فِي التُّرَابِ أَلاَ سَاء مَا يَحْكُمُونَ

16.59. Et il se dérobe aux regards des gens, le cœur meurtri par cette nouvelle, se demandant s'il va conserver cet enfant malgré le déshonneur ou s'il va l'ensevelir dans la poussière . Quel odieux jugement !

16.59 . He bideth himself from the folk because of the evil of that whereof he hath bad tidings , ( asking himself ) : Shall he keep it in contempt , or bury it beneath the dust . Verily evil is their judgment .

16.59. Yatawara mina alqawmi min soo-i ma bushshira bihi ayumsikuhu AAala hoonin am yadussuhu fee altturabi ala saa ma yahkumoona

16.60.لِلَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالآخِرَةِ مَثَلُ السَّوْءِ وَلِلّهِ الْمَثَلُ الأَعْلَىَ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ

16.60. Ceux qui ne croient pas à la vie future représentent l'image du mal , tandis que Dieu représente la perfection suprême. Il est le Tout-Puissant, le Sage.

16.60 . For those who believe not in the Hereafter is an evil similitude , and Allah ' s is the Sublime Similitude . He is the Mighty , the Wise .

16.60. Lillatheena la yu/minoona bial-akhirati mathalu alssaw-i walillahi almathalu al-aAAla wahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeemu
