27.36.فَلَمَّا جَاء سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ أَتُمِدُّونَنِ بِمَالٍ فَمَا آتَانِيَ اللَّهُ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا آتَاكُم بَلْ أَنتُم بِهَدِيَّتِكُمْ تَفْرَحُونَ

27.36. Mais lorsque ces derniers se présentèrent à Salomon, celui-ci leur dit : «Vous voulez m'aider par vos présents, alors que ce que Dieu m'a accordé est bien meilleur que ce qu'Il vous a donné ! Vous semblez bien satisfaits de votre cadeau !

27.36 . So when ( the envoy ) came unto Solomon , ( the King ) said : What! Would ye help me with wealth? But that which Allah hath given me is better than that which He hath given you . Nay it is ye ( and not I ) who exult in your gift .

27.36. Falamma jaa sulaymana qala atumiddoonani bimalin fama ataniya Allahu khayrun mimma atakum bal antum bihadiyyatikum tafrahoona

27.37.ارْجِعْ إِلَيْهِمْ فَلَنَأْتِيَنَّهُمْ بِجُنُودٍ لَّا قِبَلَ لَهُم بِهَا وَلَنُخْرِجَنَّهُم مِّنْهَا أَذِلَّةً وَهُمْ صَاغِرُونَ

27.37. Retournez donc chez les vôtres ! Nous allons marcher contre eux avec des armées auxquelles ils seront incapables de résister, et nous les expulserons de leur pays, avilis et humiliés.»

27.37 . Return unto them . We verily shall come unto them with hosts that they cannot resist , and we shall drive them out from thence with shame , and they will be abased .

27.37. IrjiAA ilayhim falana/tiyannahum bijunoodin la qibala lahum biha walanukhrijannahum minha athillatan wahum saghiroona

27.38.قَالَ يَا أَيُّهَا المَلَأُ أَيُّكُمْ يَأْتِينِي بِعَرْشِهَا قَبْلَ أَن يَأْتُونِي مُسْلِمِينَ

27.38. Puis, s'adressant à son entourage, Salomon dit : «Qui de vous m'apportera le trône de cette reine avant que son peuple ne vienne me présenter sa soumission?»

27.38 . He said : O chiefs! Which of you will bring me her throne before they come unto me , surrendering?

27.38. Qala ya ayyuha almalao ayyukum ya/teenee biAAarshiha qabla an ya/toonee muslimeena

27.39.قَالَ عِفْريتٌ مِّنَ الْجِنِّ أَنَا آتِيكَ بِهِ قَبْلَ أَن تَقُومَ مِن مَّقَامِكَ وَإِنِّي عَلَيْهِ لَقَوِيٌّ أَمِينٌ

27.39. – «Moi, répondit un djinn redoutable. Je te l'apporterai avant que tu ne te lèves de ta place. Pour cela, je suis fort et digne de confiance.»

27.39 . A stalwart of the Jinn said : I will bring it thee before thou canst rise from thy place . Lo! I verily am strong and trusty for such work .

27.39. Qala AAifreetun mina aljinni ana ateeka bihi qabla an taqooma min maqamika wa-inne AAalayhi laqawiyyun ameenun

27.40.قَالَ الَّذِي عِندَهُ عِلْمٌ مِّنَ الْكِتَابِ أَنَا آتِيكَ بِهِ قَبْلَ أَن يَرْتَدَّ إِلَيْكَ طَرْفُكَ فَلَمَّا رَآهُ مُسْتَقِرّاً عِندَهُ قَالَ هَذَا مِن فَضْلِ رَبِّي لِيَبْلُوَنِي أَأَشْكُرُ أَمْ أَكْفُرُ وَمَن شَكَرَ فَإِنَّمَا يَشْكُرُ لِنَفْسِهِ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ رَبِّي غَنِيٌّ كَرِيمٌ

27.40. – «Et moi, dit un autre qui était initié à l'Écriture, je te l'apporterai en un clin d'œil.» Et lorsque Salomon vit le trône déposé devant lui, il s'écria : «C'est là une faveur que mon Seigneur m'accorde pour m'éprouver si je suis reconnaissant ou ingrat ! Or, celui qui est reconnaissant l'est à son propre avantage. Mais celui qui est ingrat doit savoir que mon Dieu Se suffit à Lui-même, car Il est Riche et Généreux.»

27.40 . One with whom was knowledge of the Scripture said : I will bring it thee before thy gaze returneth unto thee . And when he saw it set in his presence , ( Solomon said : This is of the bounty of my Lord , that He may try me whether I give thanks or am ungrateful . Whosoever giveth thanks he only giveth thanks for ( the good of ) his own soul : and whosoever is ungrateful ( is ungrateful only to his own soul ' s hurt ) . For lo! my Lord is Absolute in independence , Bountiful .

27.40. Qala allathee AAindahu AAilmun mina alkitabi ana ateeka bihi qabla an yartadda ilayka tarfuka falamma raahu mustaqirran AAindahu qala hatha min fadli rabbee liyabluwanee aashkuru am akfuru waman shakara fa-innama yashkuru linafsihi waman kafara fa-inna rabbee ghaniyyun kareemun
