28.16.قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَغَفَرَ لَهُ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ

28.16. «Seigneur ! J'ai été injuste envers moi-même ! Pardonne-moi !» Dieu lui pardonna, car Il est, en vérité, l'Absoluteur, le Clément.

28.16 . He said : My Lord! Lo! I have wronged my soul , so forgive me . Then He forgave him . Lo! He is the Forgiving , the Merciful .

28.16. Qala rabbi innee thalamtu nafsee faighfir lee faghafara lahu innahu huwa alghafooru alrraheemu

28.17.قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَا أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ فَلَنْ أَكُونَ ظَهِيراً لِّلْمُجْرِمِينَ

28.17. «Seigneur, ajouta Moïse, puisque Tu as été bienveillant à mon égard, je ne prêterai plus jamais assistance aux criminels !»

28.17 . He said : My Lord! Forasmuch as Thou hast favored me , I will nevermore be a supporter of the guilty .

28.17. Qala rabbi bima anAAamta AAalayya falan akoona thaheeran lilmujrimeena

28.18.فَأَصْبَحَ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ خَائِفاً يَتَرَقَّبُ فَإِذَا الَّذِي اسْتَنصَرَهُ بِالْأَمْسِ يَسْتَصْرِخُهُ قَالَ لَهُ مُوسَى إِنَّكَ لَغَوِيٌّ مُّبِينٌ

28.18. Le lendemain, il se retrouva dans la ville, tremblant de peur et toujours sur ses gardes, lorsque celui qui, la veille, lui avait demandé secours l'appela de nouveau à son aide à grands cris. «Décidément, tu es un vrai égaré !», lui dit Moïse.

28.18 . And morning found him in the city , fearing , vigilant , when behold! he who had appealed to him the day before cried out to him for help . Moses said unto him : Lo! thou art indeed a mere hothead .

28.18. Faasbaha fee almadeenati kha-ifan yataraqqabu fa-itha allathee istansarahu bial-amsi yastasrikhuhu qala lahu moosa innaka laghawiyyun mubeenun

28.19.فَلَمَّا أَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يَبْطِشَ بِالَّذِي هُوَ عَدُوٌّ لَّهُمَا قَالَ يَا مُوسَى أَتُرِيدُ أَن تَقْتُلَنِي كَمَا قَتَلْتَ نَفْساً بِالْأَمْسِ إِن تُرِيدُ إِلَّا أَن تَكُونَ جَبَّاراً فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا تُرِيدُ أَن تَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُصْلِحِينَ

28.19. Et pendant qu'il se disposait à porter un coup à leur ennemi commun, celui-ci lui dit : «Ô Moïse ! Veux-tu me tuer comme l'homme que tu as tué hier? Tu ne veux donc être qu'un tyran sur Terre et non un bienfaiteur?»

28.19 . And when he would have fallen upon the man who was an enemy unto them both , he said : O Moses! Wouldst thou kill me as thou didst kill a person yesterday . Thou wouldst be nothing but a tyrant in the land , thou wouldst not be of the reformers .

28.19. Falamma an arada an yabtisha biallathee huwa AAaduwwun lahuma qala ya moosa atureedu an taqtulanee kama qatalta nafsan bial-amsi in tureedu illa an takoona jabbaran fee al-ardi wama tureedu an takoona mina almusliheena

28.20.وَجَاء رَجُلٌ مِّنْ أَقْصَى الْمَدِينَةِ يَسْعَى قَالَ يَا مُوسَى إِنَّ الْمَلَأَ يَأْتَمِرُونَ بِكَ لِيَقْتُلُوكَ فَاخْرُجْ إِنِّي لَكَ مِنَ النَّاصِحِينَ

28.20. Au même moment, accourant de l'autre bout de la ville, un homme vint dire à Moïse : «Ô Moïse ! Les responsables sont en train de se concerter pour te tuer. Sauve-toi ! C'est un conseil loyal que je te donne.»

28.20 . And a man came from the uttermost part of the city , running . He said : O Moses! Lo! the chiefs take counsel against thee to slay thee ; therefor escape . Lo! I am of those who give thee good advice .

28.20. Wajaa rajulun min aqsa almadeenati yasAAa qala ya moosa inna almalaa ya/tamiroona bika liyaqtulooka faokhruj innee laka mina alnnasiheena
